Naina Jindal, Nalsar 2015 student has, with a lot of effort compiled the major National and International Awards and their recipients for the year 2011-2012. Goes without saying that while this is comprehensive, it might possibly not be exhaustive.

Thank Naina for her help. Also, add any award that you think is important and that we missed out.

    • Hey Indu,
Even i was under the impression that it was A A Manavalan who grabbed the award for the year 2012.But in wikipedia it says Manavalan was awarded in 2011 and ‘Vivek Ambastha’ won the saraswati samman in 2012 for ‘bang boom’!
      ‘confusing’

      • yeah. but most sources like ibn ht etc say it is manavalan. try googling it. because wikipedia is the only place that mentions ambastha. it stood as at March 22 or something so I chose the most practical option 😛
