  1. There are some huge inherent problems with this.

    1. We don’t know how many questions are there.

    2. If we close the tab, we have to start from scratch.

    3. Correct answers are not displayed.

    4. New questions that shall be added will be at the end, so one can’t jump directly to them.

    • 1. How many questions do you think it will have when we titled it ‘Mock GK SET’? How many does the GK section have in CLAT? (Brains, kiddo!)

      2. Don’t close the tab, then. Simple.

      3. They are. At the end. They won’t be displayed immediately after each question. Remember the ‘Mock Set’ part?

      4. Why would we add ‘new’ questions? We’ll create such tests for every month.

      • Fair enough, it was just that the post which had directed me here said ‘new questions will be added to the page’ (not quoting). So I assumed that this was the only page (missed the January part).

        Thanks 🙂

  2. I was just going through this again, and honestly, CLAT apart, how important are some of these events really?

Like the Wealth Pack by Andhra Bank? Or the India International Coffee Festival? Aren’t there more significant issues that one should be expected to know of? Even a well-informed individual who reads the papers regularly might know the answers to some of these questions about obscure events!

And even from the POV of CLAT, will not knowing who won the “Natya Kala Acharya” award affect how good a lawyer I will be? I highly doubt it. But apparently, it might affect my chances at getting into a good law college!

However, I don’t mean to undermine the effort that has been put into this GK set. (Think I’ve mentioned it in an earlier comment, but thanks again!) Just venting.

  3. is it possible for you to copy paste the answers here? because my net connection went just as i was submitting my answers and i cant do the whole quiz again.

  4. Do provide the question-ans as displayed at the end of the test some where after a few days so that we can have a last minute revision of what we dont know/are confused about…for eg there was one question relating to the press or financial secretary of PM or something like that..I had read it before but was confused as to which one of the options was correct and which wasnt .
so I know my weakness for Jan2012…..and would obviously want to be have a last minute revision before AILET….same maybe the case of others

  5. Theme for 2012 Science Congress was “Science for Shaping the future of India”, Please check. The answer says it was,”Science & Technology for Inclusive Innovation- Role of Women”

And 2012 was to be celebrated for Sustainable Energy not Forests… 2011 was for Forests.

    Please reply.

    • Read the question again. It says “The year 2012 was designated as all of the following, BUT”.. meaning which of the following was NOT celebrated in 2012. Your answer is right, forests – 2011 while the others – 2012
Read the questions carefully.. don’t make a similar mistake in the actual paper. 😛

  6. This protocol is designed to protect communication in a secure manner using TCP/IP. It is a set of security extensions developed by IETF, and it provides security and authentication at the IP layer by using cryptography. To protect the content, the data is transformed using encryption techniques. There are two main types of transformation that form the basis of IPsec: the Authentication Header (AH) and Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP). These two protocols provide data integrity, data origin authentication, and anti-replay service. These protocols can be used alone or in combination to provide the desired set of security services for the Internet Protocol (IP) layer.^-“‘
