No, its 62 years alright. The way I learnt it — I told myself that its only fair that the High Court judges get at least 3 years to serve in Supreme Court (Max age for Supreme Court is 65 years).

i think the trouble makers will loose it because the principles not only speak of any person,having statutory authority to prevent wrongdoings,in public interest but also of “any person who believes himself to be bound by law to do it”.
if we observe the general cases in the real life screanario,there are many occasions where common public has proved helpful for the authority to prevent any crime or wrongdoings.so,the the case shall fall towards the villagers and the culprits shall be liable.

A village officer came to know that some men are trying to remove some survey stones and was rushing to the scene to stop the wrongdoing. He sees a known villager on the way and asks him to join him in the task. The villager agrees and goes with the village officer. There was a scuffle and both the village officer and the villager get hurt. FIR was filed and case registered with Police. Police wants to charge the trouble makers for attacking the two public servants. The trouble makers argue that the villager is not a public servant. Who is right?

according to the following link the 94th amendment took place on 12 june 2006 and the latest was 97th….
