1. Books about Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Law of torts in a library are in the ratio 5 : 7 : 8. There is a proposal to increase these books by 40%, 50% and 75% respectively. What will be the ratio of increased books?

6. Rs.432 is divided amongst three workers A, B and C such that 8 times A’s share is equal to 12 times B’s share which is equal to 6 times C’s share. How much did A get?

  2. What is the time allocation intended for each of these problems? Many of them would take around 2-3 mins, and that is way beyond what a live CLAT paper will permit.

  3. the ratio of incomes of two persons is 5:3 and that their expenditure is 9:5.if they save rs 1300 and 900,what is the income of first person ?

  4. If two numbers are in the ratio of 5:8 and if 9 be added to each, the ratio becomes 8:11. Find the lower number.  Explain the answer

      a/c question 15+9/24+9=24/33 it comes the ratio 8:11
      so lowest no is. 15

      basic:-

      5x+9/8x+9=8/11

      solve and get the ans..
