  1. the third question was: Which was the first state to pass the lokayukta bill in 2011/
the answer I think is Uttarakhand.

Also, One of the questions was : who has the authority to remove the governor (or something. options were president, chief minister, legislative assemble as far as I can remember)

and which is a permanent house (lok sabha, rajya sabha, etc)

(remember them only vaguely.sorry about that)

  2. Oh and also, who among the following was the winner of nobel peace prize 2011.
Lehmah Gbowee among the given questions was the correct answer

      • nope…just read on the net that milk has no vitamin k naturally…. but cheese does have vitamin k so should d and a should be correct

        • i just googled n saw … even i had marked what u marked! but the right answer is A, D, E and K. all of these vitamins are present in milk 😐

  3. okay.I also remembered that last one :D:D:D

brahdeeswara temple which completed 1000 years(I think)  is located in which state.
Options were Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka

  4. There was also some question about the best state in India to harness solar energy or something. Anybody remembers what it exactly was?

  5. Logic was from MK Pandey (most of it). The English section had extracts from the leading national dailies like the Hindu, Economic Times etc (1 passage from Pune mirror as well). About 5-7 questions on analytical reasoning were previous years’ IAS prelims questions. Static GK was from Universal.

  6. gujarat is the state which leads in harnessing solar energy..but was it even in the options!??leaves only rajasthan!

    • This is a debatable issue as neither we nor any examiner can judge as to which state is better. Both states have contributed towards harnessing solar energy to the best possible extent. To avoid this confusion, the examiner hasn’t given Gujarat as an option. 🙂

  7. And legal aptitude was copy-pasted from the last year’s papers. Even some of the logical and analytical reasoning questions. They didnt even bother changing the order of the options!

  8. . Name the first state to appoint ‘Lokayukta’. Maharashtra (1971) wasn’t that, it was the first state to pass the Lokayukta 2011 bill, which is Uttarakhand I think. They also asked under whose tenure was the capital shifted from Calcutta to Delhi (Lord Hardinge).

  9. One of the questions given above is probably not in GK section.
Because one of the questions was like,
The library of Nalanda University, Dharma Gunj or Dharmaganja means?
The answer is, Mountain Of Truth. ( According to wiki.)

  10. There was a question on what part of our Constitution was taken from the former German constitution, emergency provisions. 🙂

    • No it is an award for achievements in newspaper and online journalism, literature and musical composition. So both are correct. 😀

  11. Btw, What was the answer to that facebook question?

can you sue ( libel, slander, cannot sue ) someone for posting defamatory comments about you on facebook? 😐

  12. Umm…

They asked for the first state to pass the lokayukta bill in 2011. The answer is Uttarakhand.

And about Solar City, isn’t it Rajasthan?

  13. REGARDING CUT-OFF …….. IT SHUD CROSS 100 FOR SURE…… AND STOP AT 105 SOMETHING……… /…..

BY THE WAY …. TELL ME UR ALL GK EXPECTED MARKS…. COZZ IT WILL ONLY BE THE DECIDING FACTOR

  14. The question about the characteristic features of the Chola era, it’s bronze statues of nataraja to be more specific.

  15. Q24: who was the first Prime Minister of India – Indira Gandhi
(they didn’t ask about Sri Lanka as far as i remember!)

  16. well I guess the answer to q no.29 is Gujarat. as I read some where that Gujarat would house the largest solar energy park in Asia in two years, with a power production capacity of 500 Mw. This would be set up with an investment of around Rs 8,000 crore flowing from companies such as GMR and Lanco, which have been assigned generation capacities under the Gujarat Solar Mission.

  17. r u sure that the longest river will be nile and not amazon???
    please confirm the answer????
    i request….!
